It’s always a special treat when I get to watch my seniors grow into the beautiful young women or men they are! I first met Miss A when she was part of my junior high small group at church. Her beauty — both inner and outer — was apparent the moment I met her, and has only grown since.

I LOVE the Bellevue Botanical Garden. The variation in backdrops is truly stunning — from the alpine rock garden on one end, to the Japanese garden on the other, and so many varieties of trees and flowers in between. Benches, stairs, pathways, and trails — this place really has it all.

It’s bittersweet to come to the last of my California seniors! I had such a great time with these girls last month as part of Gina Petersen Photography’s senior rep shoot. Between the beautiful location in Petaluma, the styled wardrobe and props, and the excitement of six senior girls, the day couldn’t have gone better!

As we’re fighting stormy weather here in Seattle, it warms me to revisit these photos from Petaluma, California last month. I loved spending the afternoon with Miss E as part of Gina Petersen Photography’s beautiful senior rep shoot.

Our little Grecian goddess! Miss R and I were paired together to kick off Gina Petersen Photography’s fabulous senior day. This girl has so much poise and glamour, I had to remind myself not to get intimidated! But, after spending the day together sharing stories and dreams, her warmth is the thing I will remember most.

Miss G is the third in the series of fabulous seniors I photographed alongside Gina Petersen Photography in Petaluma, California. I loved the carefree, impeccable style of her outfits, with most of the pieces pulled from her own closet. This girl has style, not to mention a sweet personality!

My weekend with Gina Petersen Photography was filled with so many wonderful experiences. Among them was my time with Miss S, one of Gina’s six lovely high school seniors. As you can tell from her photos, Miss S is just the sweetest girl. She is quick to smile, and her expression travels all the way up to those big blue eyes.

I was so fortunate to spend last weekend with Gina Petersen Photography in Petaluma, California. I met Gina at a photography workshop in Seattle last year, and loved her immediately! Maybe it was her boundless energy or our shared association with the legal field, but we had a great connection. She was kind enough to let me shadow her for a weekend full of photo shoots. On Saturday, we spent the day shooting SIX senior girls! These girls were so beautiful, and such fun to be around. Take Miss K below — she was so comfortable in front of the camera, and her spirit just shines through.
