My good friend Kellie, of Kellie Pecoraro Photography, is eagerly awaiting the arrival of baby #2. As a fellow photographer, she knew this was the perfect opportunity to do something creative. So, she asked her doctor to seal the baby’s gender in an envelope, and passed it off to me before the temptation got too great. I got the right color balloons, packed them in a big hamper, and we headed to Discovery Park for the big reveal. I love their genuine reactions to finding out they are having a boy — mom’s sheer surprise and big sister’s tears (she wanted a sister!). Those tears quickly turned to laughter, as she realized that having a brother might be sort of cool, too. Can’t wait to meet the newest addition later this year!
