What a special session Little C’s mom and dad imagined! Little C’s great-grandma was visiting from out of town, and it was the perfect opportunity to invite her to play in his brand new room. Great-grandma is pretty good at reading, but she needed an introduction to Curious George. And, she’s pretty good at soothing tears, too. What sweet, sweet moments these two shared together.

It seems that everyone in Seattle patiently follows “bloom watch,” and arrives at the University of Washington at the exact moment the cherry blossoms hit full bloom! It’s especially crazy when those full-bloom days fall on the weekend, as they did this year. To beat the crowds, Momma, Miss B, and I arrived on campus just after sunrise.
